CBC’s freshman comedy Workin’ Moms is smart, funny, fresh, and in your face, in the best way possible. The series, created by Catherine Reitman features strong, powerful, and overly exhausted women balancing the hell out of careers and motherhood. What makes the series so special is its raw and unapologetically real outlook on these women. Yes, they are quite flawed, but they are also extremely badass. The show does a fantastic job of highlighting the small nuances of everyday life and turns them into these hilarious tiny moments on the series.
One character in particular stands out on the female dominated series: the sarcastic, exceedingly entertaining, Anne Carlson, fearlessly brought to life by the INSANELY talented Dani Kind. Anne’s witty remarks and deadpan delivery take every joke or humorous scene to the next level.
