Every year, several times a year, the iHeartRadio music franchise serves up instant gratification and good times to thousands of people by way of radio hits. Giving airtime to a spectrum of musical tastes, the massive success of the brand’s core festival led to event spinoffs, like the iHeartRadio Summer Pool Party and the holiday party to end all holiday parties, the 2016 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball tour.
On November 25, the iHeartJingleBall stopped for the first time ever in Canada.
The Chainsmokers, Hedley, Serena Ryder, Belly, Niall Horan, and Alessia Cara all graced the stage, but undoubtedly it was the starboy from the east+end, the Weeknd, who owned it.
The Weeknd spent the last few weeks promoting the release of his new album, Starboy, with popup listening parties and a musical guest star on SNL, but all he had to do was look in his own backyard for love from one of the biggest entertainment powerhouses in the game.
