QUEBEC CITY – For its 19th edition, the ComediHa! Fest-Quebec is changing its dates and will now be presented in the month of August. This new summer period, in addition to being conducive to vacations, is also perfectly in line with the strategic plan started in 2015, during the adoption of its new name “ComediHa!”.
In 2018, it will run from Wednesday, August 8 to Sunday, August 19, when hundreds of thousands of visitors will have the opportunity to attend this global crossroads of comedy to “See the funny side of life” in Quebec City, the culture capital year round.
In order to enrich the cultural and tourist offering of the destination and its attractiveness, the ComediHa! Fest will continue to develop diversified, exclusive, distinctive, and proximity programming in unusual venues throughout the capital. The organization will increase its free activities for citizens and tourists: urban animation, festive pop-up villages inspired by the “Fringe” of Edinburgh, several personalized comedic journeys, fun street furnishings, interior and outdoor shows, stars and new comics to discover, themes, a variety of artistic expressions, as well as several encounters between audience and artists.
“This 19th edition of ComediHa! Fest-Quebec promises to be the most spectacular in our history!”, states Sylvain Parent-Bédard, President-Founder. The details of the colourful programming will be announced at different occasions over the coming months.
Until then, become a ComediHa! member now via the ComediHa.com site to enjoy privileges all throughout the year.
