Steve Arienta became the first ousted houseguest of “Big Brother” season 20 when the 40-year-old former undercover cop found himself booted from the house in a 7-6 vote.

ET Canada spoke with Arienta about being the new season’s first evicted houseguest, and he opens up about what it’s like to forge alliances in the “Big Brother” house, the struggles of being the season’s oldest houseguest and what, in hindsight, he would have done differently.

“I am still trying to get my feet underneath me,” he explains on the morning after his eviction. “You know, you race through the thousands of scenarios that went on in the house at lightning speed and to tell you the truth I am always trying to think of if I’d done this differently or if I’d done that differently, but I played the best I could.”
